White-label customers don’t have to take part in the public DataSport community. And because the public community is for adults (18+), clubs, academies and schools working with children are served only through a private youth environment.
Example
A private football school working with children runs its own branded platform independently, without publishing any child’s information on DataSport.app. Parents manage their children’s access.
- Guardian-managed accountsParents and guardians create, control and close accounts for athletes under 18.
- Appropriate consentGuardian consent is recorded before any data about a child is stored, and can be withdrawn at any time.
- Restricted visibilityYouth profiles are visible only to authorised staff inside the organisation, never in public search or discovery.
- Safeguarded communicationsMessages go through guardians and designated staff, are logged, and adults cannot message children privately.
- Organisation-controlled accessOnly the organisation invites users and assigns roles; there is no self-registration.
- Private athlete informationNo child’s information is ever published on DataSport.app or shared outside the organisation.
- Appropriate data protectionData minimisation, retention limits and GDPR rights for children’s data, with every access logged.
- These controls are in development. No youth environment goes live until they are in place and the legal implementation of age verification and youth protection has been reviewed.
